Mbali Milanzi is a co- founder and executive director of a mining project management and technical services consulting firm which is female led, Tshepa Basadi. As an executive director she plays a role in the business strategy implementation and executive head of all departments within the business. Through her strong business acumen she has built healthy client relationships resulting in the business securing long term, lucrative contracts with major mining organisations in South Africa. She holds an MEng in Project Management; a BSc in Chemical Engineering as well as a PMP from the Project Management institute. She is passionate about creating employment and uplifting the lives of young people. She is a wife and mother of two, and loves to travel.

Top 3 Achievements:

• Authored a published paper entitled ‘The effects of project management on organisations with centralised procurement in the matrix mining organisation’, and presented it at the Project Management Institute Australia Conference in Sydney, Australia.

• She along with her business partner have built Tshepa Basadi from an EME with 3 employees to a sustainable high growth company with 70 employees in 6 years.

• Improved and maintained Tshepa Basadi’s BBBEE scorecard from a Level 2 to Level 1 BBBEE contributor for past 4 years.
